this is a short poem that i wrote for my true love Te'a.
My Love

Your skin glows like a lolly pop, blossoms small as the tulip in the purest hope of spring.

My heart follows your smooth voice and leaps like a frog at the whisper of your name.

The evening floats in on a great hawk wing.

I am comforted by your arms that I carry into the twilight of Kansas and hold next to my arm.

I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of water.

As my heart falls from my chest, it reminds me of your beautiful face.

In the quiet, I listen for the last whoosh of the day.

My heated body leaps to my bed. I wait in the moonlight for your secret place so that we may run as one, head to head, in search of the magnificent green and mystical face of love.
