Short ode to writer's block
Tick tock,
Writer's block,
Silence echoes in my mind.

Tick tock,
Hear the clock
Clogged and grating with sands of Time.

Blank-page dreams
Of digital reams,
Calliope denies her spark and rhyme.

Blank-page dreams,
And the Facebook scene
Of empty games and friends to find.

Tick tock,
Hear the clock
Echoing the silence of my mind.
