Love Poem by D.A. Price
For My Only Love,

They say 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder'.
I've often let my mind wonder.
They say 'Out of sight, out of mind',
But I want you beside me all the time.

How do you say what you feel?
The heart is not a fruit you peel.
I need to find a way to let you know,
You're in my heart and in my soul.

Thinking of us; of you and I,
Missing you so, tears in eye.
Love is not served on silver platters,
Love is the only thing that really matters.

It is hard to say what I feel,
These words I write for you are real.
My love for you is for everyday,
I tell you this in my own shy way.
