Coming together by becoming unglued
A fragment- a shard- a remnant-a piece-
So many images longing for release.
Splintered, mosaics- are they part of a whole?
Could my undoing be the glue to my soul?

Is it possible I will lose my mind?
With total collapse-is it peace I may find?
And as I feel reality slipping away-
Could those really be my illusions begging to stay?

Could sanity feel like I'm going crazy?
My world shrouded in gray, dark and hazy.
Is this simply preparation for the incoming light-
Could the death of my self bring new sight?

Are the fear and the terror simply paving a path-
That should I choose to follow, a new life will be had?
Might it be that when the dark I embrace-
That my being will be filled with eternal grace?

Please give me strength to do your will.
When I desire to run, let me stand still.
When I doubt your presence, please grant me faith,
It is with your love that I will find my place.
