freestyle poetry about maturing and learning to express oneself
Unchain the wolf and die?
No!
Die if you keep it prisoner much longer.
It's bay is not a death knell,
but a call to arms.
Its bated breath waits for you
Its snarl welcomes you to your true nature.
Unicorns are fantasy.
Your true nature is your only truth,
it scratches at the door to your cell.
Warm spittle sprays the walls that
enclose you and close on you.
The last of the tonus wails that
there is still life in your muscles.
The actin takes action across the myosin plains.
Your bones creak under the pressure.
Release or death.
