Every end is hard but every beginning is rewarding
I faced myself today
And didn’t like what I’ve seen
Just a silly, lonely girl, with much insecurity
“Oh silly girl, how did you end up in this unfamiliar place”?
“You’ve been running all your life filling up an empty space”
The emptiness I feel inside was from giving too much of myself
And after all the giving is done
I was left with nothing else
Three times I was pitched life
Three times I struck out
And staring at the broken pieces
I found myself no doubt
I began to find my voice again
The voice in which was gone
The voice where I can express myself
It’s my heart and my song
My life resembles countless broken dishes and cups
Boldly I stretch my arms to reach
For a new life I must pick up
