Just a short poem that I wrote years ago...
Like some scratched record
I repeat the same phrase.
I need love.
Need love,
love
Does anyone hear me?
I could scream it from every mountain top.
I could whisper it in every corner.
But no one hears me.
And even though my heart refuses to say it,
my soul screams it.
Because my heart
is too weak,
to waste a beat
on a plea
that won’t be heard.
