In english, our teacher told us to describe a room in our house. I chose my dining room
Birds chirped, and rain slowly drizzled down the windows. Light illuminated the room, and smells from the kitchen wafted in. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling, and plants were laid across on a small chest, blocking a chunk of the pathway into the main room.. A china sat in the back, full of pictures and breakables, and Display cases were lined up and down beside the window, filled with nesting dolls, and knick knacks. Orchestral music played quietly in the background, and a lonely piano sat in the corner, waiting to be played. Pots and pans clanked as a mother made dinner, and computer keys were being typed as a father worked. A bar disconnected the room from the kitchen. Piles of papers and wires hung askew hid it. A dinner table sat in the center, covered by a velvety blue table cloth. Newspapers and religious books were scattered far and wide. The blue Walls were covered with portraits, Dutch clogs, and blue Danish Christmas Plates. A large window ran from the floor all the way up to the center of the ceiling, giving a view of the track down below. A atmosphere of comfort, and yet chaos seemed to hang over this room.
