A snapshot of a night in the Arabian desert.
Alone I stumble through the deserts of Arabia,
much different than my home in Moravia.
The unknown sensation of sand beneath my feet,
is of little comfort to me.
I know not where I am or why,
or how I got here -
did I descend from the sky?

Alone I stumble through the deserts of Arabia,
spotting the moon crest over the windswept dunes.
A calm emerges as the sun begins to fade,
temperature dropping in the abundant shade.
A lone scorpion scuttles along the barren desert floor,
and disappears in the sand, as if by a secret door.

Alone I stumble through the deserts of Arabia,
while a curious feeling descends over me,
what is my destiny -
to be a wanderer, a lonely nomad of the land?
As I settle in for another desert night,
Uncertainly reigns supreme.
