Thoughts about religion, science and the human race.
The days we rule the earth will soon be spent,
The misery we cause will cease to be.
The earth that was to us so kindly lent
Will turn on all that made us humans free.
Our minds gave us intelligence and pride
Which led the mass to think that they were grand.
Religion gave us all the chance to hide,
The men would rape and pillage by gods hand.
Salvation can redeem the wrongs we made,
And science can re-mend the worlds decay.
The earth will find our harmful debts repaid
The penance for our ignorance conveyed.
We paid a heavy price to stay alive
But in the end the world is what survives.
