When she gets a call from her best friend after a fight.
There is no rhyme, no reason
Just bitterness was all that was said.

The ring of the phone pierces through the air
bringing us together once more.
What could be said? all was said before.

The years spent building the closeness hadn't mattered
doesn't matter anymore

What soothing words could he voice that would mend this broken heart?
One more time, one more go

What is this?
My ears have not heard something so sweet
as what he said to me then.

To walk with him
to be by him
it didn't matter if we disagreed
what matter was that we were seperated
seperated not just by distance but by our hearts
He couldn't stand that and wouldn't stand it either.

I love you, too.
