Valentines Day love

What this world does offer
Is shallow and trivial things

When compare to now, in what
Having you in my life brings

No material possession can affect me
The way that you now do.

Nothing that I could ever own
Would give to me like you

Something about it I spiritual
And transcends what I understand

The greatest gift I ever received
Is when You took My hand

For its not in measure or quantity
Of something I acquire

Yet more of a fullness in my heart
And fulfilling of my desire

To understand this love of ours
Not measured in length nor height

Not counted as weight or mass
Or a measure of dark or bright

No it is something that once
I could not conceive as true

But was only shown to me and understood
As I came to understand You
