This poem illustrates the chasing of a dream through the stillness of a cliff.
... A hedge that extends itself over this barren land,
Will reach for the water with its lifeless hand,
To feel the breeze of the ocean and the rays of the sun,
With a feeling of peace through the world that it's won,
Tears fall from its face as the rain slowly falls,
It listens for the roars of the waves that soon call,
At night it sees nothing but a light or two there,
Where a couple just dances as the wind blows their hair,
It's not long till they gaze into each other's eyes,
To fall into a dream under a dark lifeless sky,
The hedge turns to the water to dream of that kiss,
But only to watch the stars fall but murmur no wish,
When it awakens from slumber under the dew of the fog,
It smells the rich flowers that inhabit its bog,
And now that it smiles at the world that surrounds,
The hedge blows a kiss to the drifting cool sound,
A millennium passes with the virtue of time,
And the hedge melts away as the mountains soon climb,
It cures itself daily to a falling grain of sand,
To run along the beach where the water meets land,
And at this moment it hugs the wave's essence, the desire was stressing,
To now know that love has finally been a blessing ...
