The flightiness of our wants......
I just had a thought
Of something I could have bought
No thing of greater beauty had I ever seen
Lights and sparkles as lit from within
So precious, so rare, to not possess would be to die
If never acquired, surely all would be awry

Oh struthers, and bothers
Oh what can I offer!
From far and wide, Low and high
Through all and sundry
Alas no time or money

Today content with all that surrounds
Now thinking of that over which I’d obsessed
To whither, to whether so violently sought and pursued
I could not recall through virtue or vice
The end of the tale
Or more so the sale
