Here are the autographs of some folks I admire!
I wrote to the authors c/o the Publishers' address given in the book - and they were kind enough to forward the letters, and the authors were awesome enough to write back!

Roald Dahl ~ The text on top was typed for me! He's written the 'Dear Sonali' and signed. (The rest is printed)
Hank Ketcham - Dennis the Menace ~ Hand drawn!
Charles Schulz - Peanuts ~ Snoopy and Woodstock are printed, the little *Heart* is hand-drawn.
William Dalrymple ~ Attended a brilliant talk by him!
William Dalrymple - City of Djinns ~ Great book.
Rumer Godden ~ Card with picture.
Letter from Norman Hunter ~ Dear Sonali Bhatia, Thank you so much for your lovely letter. I'm delighted to know that you like my stories and the people in them so much and it was very kind of you to take the trouble to write and tell me. I hope you will enjoy further books of mine. In the meantime here's my autograph as you aked and I enclose another one on a separate sheet in case you'd like it. With best wishes and again thank you for writing Norman Hunter.

Paul Gallico! ~ I bought a second-hand copy of 'Coronation' and it has his autograph in it!
Marcel Marceau ~ The French Mime Artiste had visited Bangalore, India in 1989. Went for a performance and a workshop by him.
Ruskin Bond ~ Met him in person at two bookstores in Bangalore.
Rumer Godden ~ She sent me a beautiful greeting card. The text reads: Dear Sonali, Thank you for your nice letter which Puffin Books sent on to me where I live now in Scotland but did you know that for many many years I lived in India in Bengal and Kashmir and Delhi. I'm glad you like my dolls and hope you have some of your own. Here's my autograph. Rumer Godden.

Gerald Durrell - signature ~ It's at the back of a postcard.
Gerald Durrell - picture ~ He was out of town when my letter reached, his secretary sent me the postcard with the signature at the back.
