My attempt at a Shakespearean sonnet haha
The Spring and Summer have came and went,
the trees are live flames, red and yellow,
shedding the past, their times been spent,
and the air is crisp, calm, mellow.
The birds are gone, flying South to somewhere
together, they flock together, in a bunch,
until Spring they soar, together they share
a future. Something stirs, sifts, crackling crunch.
-
The wind bites hard and the trees are stripped bare,
forest friends have come and gone to sleep,
the cold chills, calls, composes pain,
the wind bites hard and its too much to bare.
-
Winter, Winter, please come fast,
this Fall feels like forever, let's Fall at last.
