About a past love that surfaces when you don't want it to.
Do you really have to let my heart float away?
Crashing in the waves of all these uncertainties.

Do you really have to rise above the horizon?
Flaunting your yellow orange magnificence randomly streaked with sky blue.

Can you lift these raindrops and bring them back to the clouds?
Soaring to only become one with the breeze.

Can you keep your light on the moon where it's supposed to be?
Shining with the eyes that only twinkle at night.

Can we skip these heartbeats?
If only we can.
