Life is a tragic yet beautiful thing, embrace it
Beautiful Tragedy

A Beautiful tragedy
That is my thought on life
Under the tireless clouds that
Roam above our wandering heads
We walked on the concrete slabs

Weeds called dandelions bloom in
Summer, killer golden explosions on the gray
And the gentle wind whispers with our talks of
Life and the pathetic, surrounding death, and
Such sadness of the materialistic

As the light from the sun falls on us and
A flock of sparrows soar with adventure, you
Talk of the bitter society, what sorrows we live with
I embrace your hopeless feel, see the black, but
Yet I smile and think of beauty

What is there to look forward to?
My lost friend asks
Death, that is the answer they give
What we wait for, and all that remains
In the hourglass

We continue to tread in the city and
I find myself dreaming of the future
An exciting journey, and
All I can manage, all that is true, I say
Life is a tragic yet beautiful thing
