Quilting show review
They stand in silent testimony
Of the blood and sweat and care

Sweet memories of love and joy
Stand partnered, side by side

Burst's of color embellish some
To catch the passing crowd

Others stark and intricate
Their textures trick the eye

Patterns and pictures grace the room
Their details brought to life

From odds and ends and bags of scraps
These treasures come to pass

And only those who live the art
Can embrace the hidden tales

Tor those that stop to criticize
Or argue what is meant

May never know the secrets hid
Within the quilters mind.
