The seven deadly sins unite to conquer the universe.
David picked his head off the floor and spat the dirt out of his mouth. "Ugh, I feel like wreck." As he stood up, a gleaming light caught his eye. He looked down at his hand and saw a glowing red ring. "What is this thing?" David tried to pull it off. Suddenly, a flow of pictures streamed through his mind. Death. Carnage. Destruction. And throughout the entire experience, an image of flame was always present. Just as suddenly as it had begun, the hellish slide show ended. David slumped to the floor, panting. "David McAllistar." A voice rang through his head. "You are in possession of an artifact that is thousands of years old." David looked at the ring. "This ring contains all the power of rage and anger," the voice said again. "Therefore..." David screamed as a tidal wave of pure anger overwhelmed him. "Your name will be forever be..." The wave's power dissipated, leaving David lying prone on the floor again, clad in a red uniform. "...Wrath."

Sometime later, Wrath picked himself off the floor. Seeing a door on the far side of the room, he walked out and began to poke around. A shadow fell around him, cast by someone behind him. He whirled and grabbed the person by the throat. "Who are you?" he snarled hatefully. "Tell me or I'll rip your head off!" The yellow-garbed figure, unfazed, raised his hand to display a ring similar to Wrath's. A beam of yellow energy stabbed out and knocked Wrath across the room. "My name is Pride. From your manners, or lack thereof, I'd say you are Wrath." Pride strode over to Wrath and offered his hand. Wrath knocked it away and stood. "Where are the others?" said Pride. "What others?" said Wrath. Pride sighed and said, "My ring said there would be other people here." Footsteps sounded in the hallway. Another person appeared out of the shadows. Her uniform was green, but otherwise identical to Wrath's and Pride's. "And you are?" Pride inquired. "Envy. Duh." Envy turned to look at Wrath. "I love your eyes. So red." Wrath grunted and kept walking. Pride shrugged and followed with Envy.

After a few minutes the trio walked in to a large antechamber. Standing throughout were others clad in uniforms like theirs. One, clad in blue, walked up to Wrath and said, "Got any food? I've been starving ever since I put this ring on." Pride dug a chocolate bar out of his pocket and threw it. "Gluttony, I presume." Wrath looked at the other three in the room. A girl in a skimpy violet outfit walked up to him. "Hey cutie. My name's Lust. Who are you?" Wrath snarled as she grabbed onto his arm and hugged it. Just as he was about to throw her across the room, another guy grabbed her by the hair and yanked her away. "She's MINE!" Yelled the orange-clad Avarice. Wrath snarled, "You can have her, little..." He walked away and found the final person slumped over in a corner. "Get up." He snarled, kicking the indigo-suited figure. Waking up, the figure shook his head and saw Wrath hovering over him like a demon out of hell. "This is a bad dream, right?"

"Get up, Sloth." Pride stood in the center of the room. "We have more pressing problems than your delusions." Suddenly, Pride's ring began to glow. A beam of yellow energy shot out and formed a screen on a wall. A silhouette was visible, but who or what it was couldn't be determined. The figure on the screen began to speak. "Now that you are all aquainted, I believe it's time you found out what you are going to do with the miraculous rings I gave you. For the moment, you may call me Ominar. The rings you all possess contain all the power of one of the seven deadly sins." "And what are we supposed to do with them?" Pride broke in. "I was coming to that." continued Ominar. "Your mission is to, for lack of a better term, help me conquer the universe."

Startled cries rang out across the room. "And how are we going to do that?" snarled Wrath. "Your rings." replied Ominar. "They can replicate automatically. Anyone who wears one will be under your direct control." As he said this, the roof opened up, revealing a section of space. "Go forth, my Sinner Corp, and bring me total, universal domination!"
