"...shells getting bigger, so we’re able to see/This tasty fruit mature..." - a poem.
The nuts grow and ripen, so high on the tree,
Their shells getting bigger, so we’re able to see,
This tasty fruit mature for our appetites to be,
Natural goodness, so wholesome and free…

The trees giving birth to more of their kind,
By producing their seeds and the meats they will find,
Perhaps they’ll sprout roots, as specifically designed,
Become an area of nut trees, so thoughtfully lined.

But though the seeds may be clustered or spaced,
They often become food which is harbored or chased
By animals lurking and scrounging, fast-paced,
Or people in orchards, still harvesting in haste.

Our Earth seeking life, unavoidable to Nature –
Its wild, hungry creatures of every known stature,
Promoting ecology, our Lord’s balance maker,
Is Nature competing for sustenance to mature…
