Friday Games

Like bubbles needing to escape to the surface,
Laughter broke through
forever keeping the silence at bay.
While keeping our smiles in place,
It kept the games going too.
Win!
Lose.
Win!
Scum.
Library, rope, Ms. Peacock!
What!?

That was our day,
Just a day to play.
