A fictional letter warning a friend that his villiage is under threat of enemy attack.
Randolph,

Unsheathe your weapons and amalgamate, friend! His Majesty returns to Dun'kern bearing more unfortunate news about our frail kingdom. Hostilities within the outer brinks of your residence in Ganflodon apprehend all who oppose the Eldendust cause and threaten our king's rule evermore. The cities no longer favor the Toru Clad, their numbers gradually grow. But lest they gaze their eyes here in Hanton upon your lands, earth and sky shall judge these worms waning from Lucifer's last supper, for they know your village's reputation as former Toru warriors!

I raise you in good faith: Let us persevere the Toru Clad and surrender our hands to the monarchy once more, for our duty is to King Praeatus and safety sleeps with him. Decipher whatever you want about this opposition, however you plead, but know that the Eldendust see fear and will surely seize your ghosts if these dwindle in your resolve. No Eldendust is any shrewder than the bludgeon; they need cages more than leashes. Expect to find wanderers and corpses in due time when the battles end, yet if all shall fail and destiny frowns upon the Toru Clad, we will ignite the new command in its glory! Fear not of the consequences, for you and I were once trendy soldiers to King Rodaion during his reign whose blades touched iron and flesh myriad times.

I sense unrest befalling these quarters. My family retired to Dun'kern a fortnight ago after the last revolt here in Hanton, but my errands demand I reside at the shop. I pray for their safety and that of your family as well. Remember our heritage and remember our fallen. I lend you my ear and meanwhile remain docile inside these halls I meander alone.
