Monologue I wrote for a friends theater audition
You dare call this man a hero
You believe it takes courage to pull the trigger
With innocents in his sights
What about the men who stand against tanks in protest
For their beliefs knowing they very well could die
You shun even the slightest bit of killing
Yet you idolize these murderers
Worshiping these Neo-Nazi murderers
And downplaying us who sit on the sidelines
Wanting to secure a better future through peace
How so often have we been right while your heroes
Just went and lost more lives
'Don't worry' you think
Its worth it to make sure the superior nation is victor
Just wait Mr. Stephen Lynch,
You shall know soon who the real heroes are
And you will regret who's side you chose to be on
