Why I like to sit at cemeteries......
I'm sitting here
It's quiet and still
There's no life at all
So where's the thrill?

Maybe it's within the beauty
The stark quite of the dead
Maybe it's the idea of
A peaceful, thoughtless head

I come and go as I please
No one here to bother me
Maybe that's why I keep coming back
To sit here and write peacefully

Time doesn't seem to matter
In this marvelous place
I spend my days here
Ridiculous? That's not the case!

Maybe I find comfort
In seeing no one's face
So, I read and write
By someone's final resting place.

I guess I'll never know
Why I think cemeteries are so great
But I'd better get home now,
Before it gets too late
