Birthday poem for my mom.
I've known you for 17 years,
You've never steered me wrong.

With all my gripes and complains,
Its a wonder you've put up with me for so long.

This poem will show how much appreciate you,
Everything you say to me and everything you.

I know I haven't exactly been the BEST daughter ever,
And our relationship is sometimes like stormy weather.

But I'm glad we survived the storm, because now you'll know,
How deep my love and appreciation for you flow.

Today's your birthday, it's all about you,
Where you want to go, what you want to do.

I know you're old. Turning the big three-five,
But try to have some fun! And not break out in hives.

Let's go surfing! And not on the net.
Or we can go fishing. I'll catch more fish, I bet.

If you would like, we can compete in a race,
We can run around the world, or even to outer space!

Today's your day, theres no limit,
Let's take reality, and violently spin it.

Happy birthday mom!
Dad and I love you.

You'll always be my hero,
No matter what you do.
