Lighthouse poetry entry A poem about a boy who lost his faith, because he lost his father
Faith is easy
as a child
no corruptions in mind
nothing is wild

A parent is a shield
protecting from what's true
that the real world is scary
and there is nothing you can do

When that shield was taken
I was still that child
My faith WAS strong
but then turned mild

Without my father
here on Earth
my heart felt empty
and full of hurt

The world is ugly
and it showed me it's face
So how do I get back
to that "amazing grace?"
