A short poem i wrote on one of my bad days.
Jaded to life
Jaded to myself
Present in body
Absent in mind
Mistakes of the past
Leave no room for the future
Taking it day by day
Isn't as easy as some say
Looking on with a blank expression
Each tick of the clock
Marks a wasted opportunity
To make something of nothing
Takes something indeed
Nothing to do and nothing to say
My actions speak for themselves
Jaded to life
Jaded to myself
