A hexaduad poem, about a horrible thunderstorm - A Poem A Day first place 9-27-11
Lightening
Flashing
Across foreboding skies
Storm’s coming we surmise
As strong winds toss about debris
Lightning strikes the mighty oak tree
Thunder crashes
The tree smashes
With our eyes opened wide
The storm starts to subside
Storm clouds parting
Clear day starting

A Poem a Day Trophy
