The loss of hope. Moving forward holding on to the only thing left. Memories.
We are nothing without memories. Memories continually re-shape, and define who we will become. We can't move forward without re-visiting where we have been. That's all I have now. The memories. It took the death of hope for me to realize what I never had. I'm left with the memories of the good times. The bad times. The amazing times. The worst times. I gave it my all, and still failed. I can only hope that soon, this will be a memory as well.
