This will be the last poem I write about you. Goodbye.
Ba-dump.

A moment feels like forever when I stare into your eyes,
It just reminds me of the painful goodbyes,
Poems are too short to describe love,
But to me, it hurts, it hurts, it hurts.

Ba-dump.

The pain never really goes away,
Even after time, it only fades;
Romeo followed Juliet to the grave,
And she woke up, then died of heartbreak.

Ba-dump.

I cry to sleep, every night,
To adults, it's silly, my so-called plight,
Yet deep inside I really am suffering,
Like a sparrow who's torn its wing.

Ba-dump.

I rest against the cold guitar,
On the surface, a single scratch mars.
How many times have you plucked the strings,
Which cut me, because they're so thin?

Ba-dump.

Forever isn't long enough, even as God decided,
You blink and turn away again, again you shatter the moment,
Like my heart, dropped and smashed, all that broken glass,
I'm trying but I can't pick it up, I'm trapped behind bars.

Ba-dump.

I remember your heartbeat, swift and loud,
You teased me about my blush, making me pout.
I don't remember my heartbeat, I'm going insane,
This is the last time you'll hear it, ever again.

Ba-dump.
