A Quick and Hidden Reference To Love
My Conqueror, My Albatross

Love was the albatross of my sea,
and the ship was my conqueror.

Within the beak of temptation,
and the cannons of desire,
the albatross held no regret,
only the sea felt the trembling fire.

To hold the eyes of such freedom,
and to imprison such sails of demand,
no albatross could flutter with shackles,
not even a fiery-ship could escape the damned.

Pain was the feet of my albatross,
and with wings I felt my release,
Hate was the bone of my albatross,
and within the grave of ships felt peace.

And yet still,

Love was the albatross of my sea,
and the ship was my conqueror.
