A description of events that have caused me to cry at times...Perhaps you have felt it to?
Live To Cry Another Day

Hush young one, lest you lose your sanity,

Dry your eyes, quench your tears,

Perhaps you'll live to cry another day,

Whether it was about the boy you loved,

But who didn't love you,

Or whether it was that you loved each other but stopped,

Knowing it was the right thing to do,

Maybe it was the well-earned reprimand from a relative,

Perhaps it was the loving concern of a friend,

The bitter disappointment of broken promises or hopes,

Frustration and distress of youth as you learn how to cope with these new feelings and viewpoints,

And you keep being molded into the person you want to be,

Fear not, young one, you will find your way,

And all your tears will have been part of the journey,

But if you are in the midst of tears,

Just know that the floodgates will close,

The pain will lessen,

You will sleep the sleep of healing,

A smile will creep across your face,

Secretly knowing that you will live to cry another day.
