A brief poem, set in "aa bb cc dd" form with 8 syllables per line.
Vampire Heart—

I hear your voice, your whispers creep,
In the treetops, and down the street.

I trip and fall, into your arms,
You steal my breath with deadly charm.

Black eyes explore, and pierce my thoughts,
I’m not for sale, but I’ve been bought.

You grasp my throat, I dare not scream,
“Be still my love, this is a dream”

He breaks my skin and I’m reborn,
Crimson outlook, my brand new form

I am free now, home in the dark
In love with a vampire heart
