Dark poem about lost innocence.
A park! A park!
Abandoned by dark,
stark contrast lest no beast should stalk
A child! A child!
What silly gait,
too aloof and sanguine
for such dreadful fate.
A beast! What size!
What little light,
consumed whole,
by evil eyes.
I should turn away,
for I've witnessed such phases.
Or become the target,
of such terrible gazes.
The red soil drenched crimson
My anguish! My helplessness!
is sufficiently my prison!
