Hopeless despair reverberates

through thinly veiled persistence

Her futile wails resurrect no lasting presence

the somber aura of her lover's sanguine visage

ha! give in

A lasting song illuminates his golden tomb

for no purpose could ferry her from the dense pull of his fate's gloom
