Thanks to an experiment, a young man gains the ability to alter his form... with a catch. |
| Mark Taylor was a young man with a bright future. As a researcher at Protean Industries he had a great job at a company involed heavily with military contracts. However, while working on a new experimental compound called SX-3 an accident in the lab caused the small bit of experimental SX-3 to spill on Mark changing him. Mark Taylor's old life is now over but his new life is just beginning. Mark's Powers Thanks to being doused in the experimental compound SX-3, Mark has gained a very special ability: the ability to change himself into anyone he desires. However there's a catch: he must absorb those who he wishes to become. By absorbing them he absorbs both their genetic memory and mental memories allowing himself to turn into a perfect replica of the person right down to how they think... but a problem has also come with it. While he permanently remembers the form of anyone he absorbs, he can only copy their mental patterns while they're absorbed into him thus if he absorbed a person he could look like the person, know everything they know and act like them. He can eject the person from his body however and once that happens he could still become them physically but without the immediate access to their mind he could no longer become them mentally. Furthermore if he absorbs a person he has about three or four days to divest them otherwise he will "digest" them, killing them and making them a permanent part of himself. General Rules The same rules you've come to expect apply here. Spelling, grammar and the like must be minded. Sex is allowed however this is not a porn story. Chapters must be... involved, for lack of a better word. Nothing only a few sentences long or shallow... again for lack of a better word. I reserve the right to delete or edit chapters if I feel that they're not up to standards. One last thing: this is an interactive story and thus a collaborative effort. You might have your own story to tell and that's cool but don't limit yourself to only adding to your own specific corner. Add to other storylines if you feel you have an idea for it. These stories are much more fun when authors play off of eachother. Don't worry so much about stepping on toes but be mindful of the story being told, what has happened in the chapter you're following up and where the story seems to be going. If you have a specific idea for a choice (or choices) at the end of your chapter, feel free to reserve it but don't get greedy and hoard. Other than that, have fun and enjoy. |
