A woman reflects on her dreams about a forbidden love.
My dreams taunt me tonight,

But I do not put up a fight.

I crave a fantasy that's wrong,

I crave somewhere I don't belong.

The thought comes to mind like a blight,

My dreams taunt me again tonight.

I crave the loving look I see,

I crave how we can both be free.

It's wrong in life, this much I know

My wishful thoughts won't let him go.

My dreams taunt me again tonight,

But in my heart it feels so right.

There he can tuck a strand of hair,

There we are a fabulous pair.

He really could be my white knight,

My dreams taunt me again tonight.
