What I feel when I am alone,
Sitting on this rock,

under the shady palm tree,

at the bright, sandy beach

with the salty breeze,

caressing my face

It makes me feel,

like there is no other place,

I'd rather be.

But it gets lonely sometimes,

and I look for company

All of them found

at the sandy beaches,

in front of where I gaze

Approaching them slowly,

I try to be nice and kind

but rejected and insulted

I retreat back to the rock,

under the cooling palm tree

The feeling of want and fear,

jealousy and contended,

from looking at them.

A unexplainable feeling
