A poem about a new life after death.
At his sunset

His eyes dimming

Whispered

“I have to go now”

Softly softly into his night

He left us

Turning his face

Closing his eyes

To find a new dawn

- Leaving -

Concrete deep footprints as memories

That guide us

Through our own private darkness
