A typical love-to-hate-you poem
Get out of my mind, my poem
You're not meant to be here
In my private, little spaces
With your stupid, little mind
And your annoying, little faces

Oh Christ, it's you again
To make me totally insane
And drive me up the wall
You can't defy gravity
So I'm waiting for the fall

Really, what's wrong with you?
Just leave me alone
For just a minute or twenty
No, I don't want you here
Or the phony gifts you sent me

The worst part is that
I can't get you out of here
This poem wrote itself
For you, only you
It's the only thing I can do

I want to tell you
Just how much I love it
When you smile at me
And take the extra time
Just to be mine

God, it's you again
Messing with my mind
