A bit of prose about trust issues.
Finally, it all came into focus. We come together, joining forces with the inability to see past the world thats shifted underneath our feet. Fears and experiences cloud our realities and turn them into truths. Trust circulates like the moon; forever unreachable in a constant cycle of eclipse. Hearts race as we grind against our instincts, failing to bridge gaps between our hopes and our perceptions. Crooks hide their intentions behind the faces of honest men, but motives shine in the eyes of snakes. So we blacken our eyes that reflect our inner demons, as trepidation carries on the wind of our breaths, and demands transcendend electric hands.
