Sometimes the pain is for the best.
I cannot love you
I am free and you are grounded.
Your plans shall not include me by choice.
I will leave as you walk towards her.
I saw your face when you saw hers
Time running out between us
as she fit into your plans so precise. We sat at the bar without voicing an end.
As we finished our Manhattans we rose ending our lives.
She will not come cheaply to you.
Your payment has come due.
You have lost me.
I've flown away.
Don't look.
