THE REAL SIDE OF YOU


         Don't speak a word
your words are bound to make me blue
I have no expectations
when I ask 'What was I to you?'
Your presence and absence
was no less than my obsession
it pushed away my innocence
and revealed, you are not my possession.
And now the distance prevails
between your other-side and me
expired promises that derail
my memory, are lingering beside me.
