It felt so right
Crazy Baby and her little smile did me in
After that first, frozen moment I knew I'd never win
So I just closed my eyes and I let her pull me in
And we freed ourselves like only angels with wings can.

All through that first night with our bodies glued together
We held each other tight with only thoughts of one another
Lost in delight with our spirits entertwined
We needed no light as her lips came close to mine
Our movements made sparks that bathed us just like moonlight
And it felt so right as we gave ourselves up to the night.

But we were both young and Crazy Baby knew better
Her final words stung as a tear crashed onto the letter
I tried to get up, but with knees too weak to chase
I closed my eyes and took one last look upon her face

And for the longest time I tried to erase
all those broken memories of that time and that place
I knew it'd never happen and i thought i'd lost the race
the only thing left was a desperate change of pace

So I dusted myself off and I got myself together
Stepped out into the night right after it's darkest hour
I saw those stars shine bright and I knew they'd give me cover
while i went on my hunt for something new to discover
And It felt so right as I dissapeared like a shadow in the night
