Loving someone different
I was at A, but you were at B,
I saw the end, that you could not see.

If you were black, making me grey,
dusk to your dawn, night to my day.

No and a yes, high to a low,
Stuck in park, while I was in go.

My east so far, from your wild west.
Your heart so large, but mine's compressed.

You thought short trip, during my long haul.
When you seemed to spring, I was in fall.

If my roses were red, then yours would be blue,
The answer was one, but you came with two.

Heart full of fire, mine cold as stone.
Rather then follow script, you liked unknown.

How could 'us', come from you and I,
Such different points, like ground to sky.

Saying rings true, opposites attract.
Odds out of favor, with the deck so stacked.

But some how our wrongs, made us right.
Damsel in distress, proverbial white knight.
