Will being alone be all she will ever know?
Have you ever felt alone? Scream, and no one will hear you. Laugh, and it just makes that dull hollow sound. Cry, and your tears dry on your cheeks. No one is there with a gentle hand to wipe them away. You long for the nights when you can fall into oblivion. Fall into the deep darkness where dreams of hugs and red roses seem so real. Will it ever be real? No. Probably not. You wake up and it's gone. All gone. Nothing's real, except the suffocating loneliness that envelops you like the smothering heat in the summer. What do you do? Move through the days like a robot, doing what you're told, trying to please, just hitting below the approval mark every time. Take the anxiety drugs that takes some of that suffocation away, ones you can steal because you can't get your parents to take you to a doctor. Steal too much. Take the whole bottle. Fall into the ever ending oblivion. Even hell is better than this life.
