Watching her walk away and can't do a thing about it
Stay

A dimming moon glow
As night fades away
Don’t want you to go
I beg that you stay
God please, stay right here, do not disappear

The warmth of your smile
Your soul piercing eyes
I just want you awhile
Maybe past sunrise
God please, stay right here, do not disappear

Each time we talk
More of you I see
Hands on the clock
My one enemy
God please, stay right here, do not disappear

My mind dreams freely
My heart's in a whirl
More precious to me
Than an oyster their pearl
God please, stay right here, do not disappear

Last time I checked
You made it stand
The hair on my neck
With a touch of your hand
God please, stay right here, do not disappear

Each breath that I take
Is shallow and quick
How can love make
One feel so sick
God please, stay right here, do not disappear

As you walk away
More time can I borrow
Forever is a day
Longing for tomorrow
God please, come back here, do not disappear
