Fate's Design Look at a cemetery
Fate’s Design

A time for Mourning
The sky seems to open up
Falling into a sea of black umbrellas

Stone faces watch in silence
As a woman cries in agony
And last rights are read

No one speaks
Nothing moves
Except for the occasional crashing of distant thunder.

What can be said to ease the guilt, pain, anguish, hopelessness?
Here in this unforgiving garden
With a sea of stone faces and markers

Gone to early or gone too late
The theme here never changes
Everyone knows it.

Yet there are times
When all the guilt, pain, anguish, and hopelessness
Makes Angels weep along with us
In this garden of hopelessness.
