Morning Meditations
Spiritual echoes
reverberate through my soul
as I chant God’s name
in the shadows of morning;
inhaling God’s love
I meditate on His word
and give thanks for a new day.

Form: A Choka poem has a minimum of 7 lines and no maximum. A Choka does not rhyme and has an alternating syllable count of 5-7-5-7-5-7.....5-7-7 with the last two line having 7 syllables each.
